Britney Spears 'Private Show' Perfume Set - Review

Hello my beauties!
Since my high school years fragrances by Britney Spears have always been close to my heart. They're very much my 'go-to' scent, and when I post one of her products on my social media I often find this is the case for others too! Not long ago I find Britney had a few new fragrances out and the one that caught my eye was Private Show, which I'm going to be reviewing today!

As far as I was aware of, Private Show was only available in The Fragrance Shop, however it is now sold at your local beauty store. I was planning on buying the bottle singular however for the gift set that contained the matching shower gel and body lotion as well as 30ml bottle it was £15.00. If I love the perfume I may just go and purchase the 100ml size for £20.00, you'll just have to wait and see

I adore how enchanting yet classy the bottle itself is for Private Show; shaped into a hexagon that has a matching diamond lid, this packaging is different to many scent bottles. It's a simple design of a clear pale pink glass lid, a narrow gold neck sat on a slightly clouded bottle. The title of the perfume and creator is printed in clear block script. As the saying goes 'less is more' and I feel this product is the perfect example.

Private Show is a fragrance created by Britney's love of dance, it's said Britney believes that the ultimate shows are constructed before the lights turn on. If I'm putting this into thoughts relating to myself, it could be the best times are coming after I've dosed myself in this scent. I would describe it as a very femine, girly scent-not too young however would appeal to a teenage audience too.
As two of the notes are iced coffee and whipped cream (I can see where 'Private Show' formed;)!) it is very sweet and powerful at first spray. I mistakenly thought it could have featured chocolate and honey, however I can now see where I got the scents mixed up. For me I loved the primary hit, as a fan of sweet-smelling scents Private Show was right up my street. As the perfume set it died down into a softer aroma, this is where the jasmine and orange blossom combine, this reminded me of a vanilla smell and became very easy to wear.

Whilst other perfumes can have a set occurrence for their presence, Private Show is definitely an all round scent. As it's got a refreshing twist to it, it's faultless for a casual day, giving you a wakening lift and putting some sass into your morning. Entering into the evening, there's also an elegant fleur to this perfume which creates a lovely glamorous feeling, making you feel ready for the night ahead!

Each time I've worn this product I fall in love with the scent, so far so I happily wear it on lazy days simply to smell nice. Although longevity wise I personally don't feel it's the best, you can always reapply throughout the day and it doesn't get musky or forceful. If left all day with no reapplication it will fade completely after three to four hours which is the only downside of the fragrance.
As I bought the shower gel and body lotion I must mention how amazing they are too! The shower gel is perfect instead of bubble bath, it forms cloud-like bubbles that last the entire time rather than disintegrating not long after being poured in. I must say it's one of the best bath products I've come across, with a fresh smell with a trace of Private Show as a background scent.

To partner with the shower gel there is the after bath body lotion that I'm in love with! It's the perfect way to end a relaxing bathe, the product is so gentle and massages into the skin with simplicity, making you feel truly pampered and spoilt. The fragrance of the lotion matches the fragrance, however because you apply it by hand the smell just appears even more

The reason I wanted to mention these two items is because I recently discovered that if you apply the body lotion just before you apply the perfume the scent lasts much longer than on its own. As the lasting length of the lotion is twelve hours on its own, this gives the perfume an extra few hours which is what we all want isn't it?

Have you ever tried Private Show? Are you tempted now?

I've always loved Brittany's perfumes too! My favourite one is Hidden Fantasy! I wear it almost everyday and I love it!
However, I might need to try this one out!
