Indy Luxe 'Merbabe Collection' - Review

Hello beauties!
One thing I've always been pleased with is I wasn't one of those people who bought make-up brushes for the fun of it, for me they were simply tools that helped me create make-up looks. Obviously, judging by this post, things have drastically altered-can you blame me though? Just look at the exquisite Merbabe collection from Indy Luxe.
Indy Luxe is a relatively new company that specialises in make-up brushes. After being in awe of their stunning products, they release an even prettier one, if possible; when the Merbabe Collection found its way onto my feed-I fell in love and knew these beauties had to be mine!

Luckily Indy Luxe works with lots of bloggers and even have their very own 'brush squad'. I'm usually very shy when approaching brands however I put my awkwardness aside for the Merbabe brushes and sent the company an E-mail on how I was very interested in becoming part of the group. After a few minutes wait I had a reply and had received my discount code and placed my order through the friendly and helpful staff. My bloggers discount took the original price of £35.00 to £24.90, which included £3.99 for p&p.

After a four day wait my brushes were delivered on Friday, I was so excited to open the gold Jiffy bag they were posted in that I nearly ripped it open! There they were, in a simple plastic bag that let the brushes themselves do the talking. You can have my word that they are the most stunning brushes so far, just look at my photos!
From turquoise to white ombré bristles that are soft enough to use on a new born baby's skin, the rose gold band that add class into the sassiness of the scale-like turquoise to pink mermaid tail handle - these brushes are breath-taking through and through. It's quite plain to see how much thought and work has gone into the production of the product. The scaled pattern imprint that's assigned to the handle is conformation of the detail aspects that have made the brushes.

In this Indy Luxe set your acquire ten brushes, five being for your face; these include the foundation, contour, highlighting and setting powder brush. Meanwhile the other five for the eyes, some being an angled eyeliner brush, a precise eyeshadow brush and a blender too! All ten have sculpting jobs and will be perfect for creating a beautiful look.
Whilst the product tick all boxes in the visual sense, I often find brushes hit and miss. They can appear to be carved by angels however they can feel sharp and scratchy when in use, for this reason as soon as the brushes arrived I trialled the face ones on my hand, and oh my gosh, perfect is not the word! Not one sharp bristle in sight, and it's likewise with the eye brushes too, in fact my Mum claimed she found it relaxing and could fall asleep getting make-up applied!

Speaking of my Mum, often products as such can be viewed as a younger persons product, and sure the brushes give of a young, girly vibe but the also have a classy, beautiful feeling too! Depending on your mind-set I think any age would absolutely adore the design, however if I had to choose a target age it would be 13 to 30 year olds. Although my Mum thought they were stunning, she said she wouldn't necessarily purchase these for herself however she would for my sister or I.

As if these beauties weren't perfect enough, Indy Luxe is a cruelty free and vegan friendly company. In my eyes this simply adds to the appeal, knowing no animals were hurt during the production of the brushes, after all mermaids are half fish

You'll notice I've not mentioned the quality of use. This is because I've not had chance to fully apply make-up with the brushes yet.. Why don't you test them yourself, I have a 20% discount code which is 'PORCELAINDOLL20'. (This is an affiliate link. If you use this I earn a tiny percentage of money from the order).

Have you bought any brushes from Indy Luxe?
Or are you thinking about purchasing now?

Your photos are gorgeous, and it's wonderful to hear that these brushes are cruelty free too! Thanks so much for sharing!
