Goals For The New Year

Hello lovelies
With it approaching Christmas and New Years, my post today is kind of a New Years resolution post. This year I've started my blog and I'm feeling as though I'm accomplishing something in life now, however this time next year I'd love to have achieved more!
As you can see by the title of this post, I'm not calling them resolutions. This is for the simple reason of they're not going to be life changing or great things, they're just tiny goals that by the end of next year I can tick off.

Personal
Take A Selfie A Month
Firstly, and vainly, over the last week I've seen the trend of 'My Twelve Selfies Of 2016' and I really liked the idea. I'm not a big selfie fan, sure I love nosing at others but the majority of mine I delete. When looking through my own camera roll I had about ten selfies from this year, a few in the same day but then none for months. So for next year I want to gain some confidence and also have memories to look back at.

Do Another Charity Walk
Another personal goal of mine is to take part in another charity walk. Last year I did Race For Life with my Mum and sister after we lost my Grandad, this year I did have a memory walk planned but unfortunately it got cancelled. The reason I'd love to do another one is not only are you making money and awareness for a good cause, but you're also collecting memories for yourself too.

Get Into A Skin Care Routine
On my Christmas list for this year I've asked for a range of skincare remedies. As you know I haven't paid much attention to my skin up to now, however I'm hoping to change that this coming year. My goal is to gently ease myself into a morning regime, starting with every couple of days hoping to make it more frequently so it becomes daily. I wish to find a quick yet effective way to give my skin a refreshing wake up call every morning.

Social Media
Keep To A Theme On Instagram
One thing I am truly rubbish at is sticking to a Instagram theme! As I don't take my own photographs I find it hard to find snaps that all fit together like a jigsaw and it can become annoying. One goal for the year ahead is get photos took in bulk of all objects that will follow a theme, meaning I'll be able to plan future posts and know what image will follow.

Keep Growing A Social Following On All Platforms
This year I've felt proud of my growth on Instagram and also Twitter (you can read how I grew my Twitter account here), and I would love to keep growing it over the next year. I've said before the more you grow your social media, the wider your blog audience becomes. Numbers is the way I push myself and watching them grow is similar to watering a flower, watching it flourish. I also would love to hit some big targets on other platforms such as Facebook and BlogLovin' too!

Work With Some More Brands
Since launching my blog in March I have been approached by a couple of bloggers and companies to work with me, and I'd love for this to continue. As a blogger working with others is so refreshing and exciting, I love meeting new people who have similar interests as me and find my blog is a fabulous way of collaborating with individuals! Whether it's being asked to review a product that suits my blogs theme, to giving some advice or guidance with another blogger, it's one of the reasons I've fallen in love with my blog.

Write In Advance
My final goal for Social Media is one of my most important, lately I've started planning my posts two months in advance but I still have to tackle writing headway too. In the future an element I'd savour is to know my next weeks post were already typed up and ready to be published. Though for the time being my aim is to at least have my post typed the night before going live.

So there you have it, my goals for the upcoming year. You have a mixture of some that are simply just for my benefit, others may hopefully improve my blog too. Setting goals push me, they make me want to do something with my time.

What about you? What are your goals for 2017?
Tell me in the comments.
